Annette Hollingsworth

Annette (Sparkman) Hollingsworth, age 75, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 22, 2017 at Providence Hospital in Waco. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Annette was born August 8, 1941 in McLennan County, the daughter of Robert and Stella (Moore) Sparkman. She was a 1959 graduate of China Spring High School. On December 14, 1963 she was united in marriage to Albert Hollingsworth in Waco. Annette operated Nanny's Day Care for many years before retiring in 1994. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and cooking. Annette was a Nanny to many children, raising them and touching their lives through food and love. She especially loved spending time with her own family. Annette is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Euless, Odell, Billy Joe, Ivan, George, William "Tinker", Roy "Sonny", R.L. "Mutt" and Christopher Sparkman; and sisters, Roberta "Bobbie" Luedke, Violet "Vie" Engelke and Stella "Sis" Engelke. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Albert Hollingsworth of Lacy Lakeview; her children, Kimberly Hollingsworth of Lacy Lakeview, Michael Hollingsworth and wife Lisa of Lacy Lakeview and Victoria Goodwin and husband Stacy of West; grandchildren, Katana Lippe, Danah Caufield and husband Gerald, Joshua Lippe, Dalan Goodwin, Makenzie Hollingsworth and Sara Goodwin; great grandchildren, Sierra, Gerald, Rejino, Katelynn and Leleah; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Joshua Lippe, Dalan Goodwin, Fred "Skipper: Engelke, Darrell "Bimbo" Engelke, Bruce Engelke, Darren Davidson and James Hollingsworth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
