Angeline was born April 23, 1919, in West the eldest child of Ludwig J. and Sidonia (Dvorsky) Snokhous. She attended St. Mary's School and graduated from West High School. On November 8, 1938 she was united in marriage to Charlie J. Sulak at St. Marys Church of the Assumption in West. Charlie preceded her in death on February 17, 1976. Angeline was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and caring for her family and pets. Later in life she enjoyed traveling with her children and grandchildren. She especially cherished trips to Europe where, while visiting ancestral homes, she met descendants of her ancestors that stayed in the old country. Angeline and Charlie were devout Catholics who devoted many hours in service to the church community of St. Josephs in Bellmead, and who sacrificed much to provide a parochial education for their children at St. Marys in West and at Reicher Catholic High School in Waco. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Chapter 829, St. Josephs Altar Society, Czech Heritage Society of Texas and KJZT Society. In addition to her parents and husband, Angeline was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond J. "Popeye" Snokhous, James A. Daniels, Evelyn Urbanovsky, Louis Snokhous Jr. and an infant sister, Marguerite Snokhous. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Sulak and her husband Dr. Eric Wilson of West; sons, Charles Sulak of Brenham and Ray Sulak of Mansfield; sisters-in-law, Betty J. Daniels and Clarice Snokhous; grandchildren, Richard Wilson of McAllen, Carol Wilson of West, Diane Wilson of West, Laurie Knapek of Pflugerville, Daniel Sulak and wife Carrie of Hutto, Ray M. Sulak and wife Katherine of Dallas and Christopher Sulak of Midland; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Angeline and her family are especially thankful for the wonderful care she received at Sunset Home in Clifton and, prior to that, at West Rest Haven, where she was at the time of the West Fertilizer Plant Explosion on April 17, 2013. Pallbearers are her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sunset Lutheran Ministries, West Rest Haven Disaster Relief Fund or a charity of your choosing.
