Angeline A. Kolar

Angeline A. Kolar, age 92, of West, passed away early Tuesday afternoon, November 10, 2015 at West Rest Haven in West. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by a visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Paul Hudson as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Angeline was born November 23, 1922 near West, the daughter of Frank R. and Annie (Gerik) Kolar. She attended the old Alligator School. Angeline helped her father on the family farm and was known as a great babysitter. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Angeline enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and gardening. She especially loved volunteering at West Rest Haven. Angeline is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Adolph Kolar, Rudolph Kolar, Albin Kolar, Frank Kolar and George Kolar; and sisters, Mary Grmela, Margaret Kolar, Lillian Kolar and Irene Kolar. Survivors include brothers, Alfons Kolar, Raymond Kolar and Johnny Kolar and wife Edda; a sister, Annie Mae Marek; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are Adolph Kolar, Rudy Kolar, Larry Marek, Kenneth Kolar, Harry Grmela and Raymond Kolar Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Kolar, Ricky Kolar, Frankie Kolar, Dennis Kolar, Randy Kolar, David Kolar, Alfons Kolar, Thomas Kolar and James Kolar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Rest Haven Disaster Relief Fund or to the West Baseball/Softball League.
