Allison Paige Andrews

Allison Paige Andrews, age 25, of Temple, formerly of West, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, September 17, 2015 near Midland. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, with Rev. Ronnie Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Allison was born April 8, 1990 in Waco the daughter of Robert D. Schlosser and Martha Lynn Barron Schlosser. She attended school in Connally before moving to West. Allison was a 2008 graduate of West High School, where she excelled in volleyball. She continued playing volleyball for the Hill College Lady Rebels in Hillsboro. Allison was a Mother and her greatest joy was spending time with her son, Tyler. She also enjoyed working out and staying in shape. Allison is survived by her son, Tyler Gilchrest; her mother, Martha Schlosser; her father, Robert Schlosser and wife Martha Allen; a sister, Kisha Barron; a step-brother, Jacob Allen; two step-sisters, Sasha and Gabrielle Allen; paternal grandfather, Dale Andrews; and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are James Lenart, Veronica Lenart, Sara Lenart, Jamie Cvikel, Brandi Cvikel and Mike Blackwell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tyler Gilchrest Education Fund.
