Alison (Patke) Ryan Snokhous, age 58, of West, passed away Wednesday morning, May 1, 2024 at her residence.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Deacon Ronnie Sykora officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery near West.
Alison was born February 18, 1966 in Marlin, the daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Gresham) Patke. She was a 1984 graduate of West High School. On April 15, 1999 she was united in marriage to Robert Snokhous Sr. in West. Robert preceded her in death on April 17, 2013, being one of the first responders to lose his life in the West Fertilizer Plant Explosion. Alison was an administrative assistant for Quality Marble in West for many years. She enjoyed working on arts and crafts projects, interior and holiday decorating, and listening to music. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, McKenzie Ryan Scruggs and husband Adam of Chalk Bluff, Robert "Bubba" Snokhous Jr. and wife Ashley of Mansfield, Missouri, and Marqee Snokhous of Crystal River, Florida; her beloved grandchildren, Tyler Scruggs, Asher Scruggs, Emmett Scruggs, Kadence Snokhous, Kameron Snokhous, and Maverick Snokhous; her sister, Lisa Ann Najar; her brother, Raymond "Randy" Patke II and Robin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Volunteer Fire Department or the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
