Alice Patke

Alice Patke, age 83, of West, passed away late Thursday evening, July 28, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Deacon Robin Waters officiating. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home. Alice was born March 10, 1939 in Reagan, Texas the daughter of Ishmael and Annie Mae (Johnson) Gresham. She attended schools in Reagan and Marlin. On September 27, 1963 she was united in marriage to Raymond "R.A." Patke in Marlin. R.A. preceded her in death on July 3, 2004. Alice was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She was a homemaker, mother, was a hostess at Nick's Restaurant and was a caterer at Waco's Bestyet. Alice enjoyed reading and watching old movies. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alice is also preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother who raised her, Roselina Gresham; brothers, Luther Gresham and Marty Johnson, and a son-in-law, Robert "Bob" Snokhous. Survivors include her three children, Lisa Ann Najar, Alison Snokhous, and Raymond A. "Randy" Patke II, all of West; six grandchildren, Trey Tanner and wife Gabi, Jessica Cobb, Leigh Ann Najar-Earl and husband Jacob, McKenzie Scruggs and husband Adam, Marqee Snokhous, Robert "Bubba" Snokhous Jr. and wife Ashley; ten great grandchildren, Elle Tanner, Emme Tanner, Tinsley Cobb, Cambria Durgin, Cordelia Earl, Tyler Scruggs, Asher Scruggs, Emmett Scruggs, Kadence Snokhous, and Kameron Snokhous; several siblings; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Volunteer Fire Department.
