Albina G. Wiedemann, age 92 of New Boston, formerly of West, passed away early Friday morning, January 7, 2011 in New Boston. A rosary will be recited 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West by Janice Kaluza, with visitation to follow until 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Graveside services will be held 11:45 a.m. Monday at Waco Memorial Park. Mrs. Wiedemann was born March 22, 1918 in Elk, the daughter of Vince and Mary (Pechacek) Marek. She attended schools in Axtell and graduated from 4-C Business College in Waco. On February 3, 1948 she was united in marriage to Frank H. Wiedemann in Elk. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1994. Albina was a homemaker and worked at Lorch Manufacturing for over twenty years until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She was also a member of St. Mary's of the Cenacle Catholic Church in New Boston. Albina enjoyed crocheting, flowers, gardening, and working in the yard. She especially loved taking care of her family. Her parents and all of her brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son. Frank H. Wiedemann Jr. and wife Donna of New Boston; three daughters, Gaynelle Hensley and husband Walt of Irving, Rebecca Wiedemann of Waco, and Freda Allen and husband Mike of Chalk Bluff; four grandchildren, Bram Zimmerman and wife Jennifer, Angela Gordon, Jeremy Hanson and Laura Wiedemann; three great grandchildren, Riley, Taylor, and Gregg; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption Building Fund or St. Mary's of the Cenacle Catholic Church in New Boston.
