Albina "Billie" Navratil, age 96, of West, our beloved mother, Granny and Great Granny, left her family here on earth to join her family in heaven, on Sunday morning, January 4, 2015 at The Atrium in Bellmead. A rosary will be recited and funeral services held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Billie was born May 19, 1918 in Hungerford, the daughter of Philip and Frances (Molina) Bilek. She attended the Ross School and West Elementary. On August 26, 1940, she was united in marriage to Robert J. Navratil in West. Robert preceded her in death on November 12, 1987. Billie was a seamstress for Lorch Manufacturing in West. She also worked for the Old Corner Drug Store and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Billie was Miss West in 1934. She was also a member of SPJST Lodge #54 in West, where she recently was recognized for being a 75 year member. Billie will always be remembered for her love and concern for her family, always putting them before herself. She enjoyed making all the beautiful quilts and baby quilts for family and friends. She will live in our hearts forever. Billie is also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry Bilek; and sisters, Mary Ann Plsek, Vera Truitt, Agnes Kramr, Emilie Plsek, Ann Shepard, Josephine Slovak, Hattie Schoppe, Frances Bartosh, Lillian Schwenke and Vlasta Jezek. Pallbearers are Tim Plsek, Robert Morgan, Ken Bryant, Randy Young and David Tobola. Memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association. We would like to thank everyone at the Atrium in Bellmead for the care of our mother, especially Oak Grove nurses and aides. Billie and Robert are together again. We love you.
