Albin Pustejovsky, Jr.

Albin Pustejovsky Jr., age 79, of Axtell, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 1, 2022 at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours, with Deacon Ronnie Sykora officiating. Military honors will be conducted by West Veteran's Honor Guard. Albin was born March 14, 1942 in Mt. Calm, the son of the late Albin and Norma (Svacek) Pustejovsky. He attended Leroy and West schools. On November 20, 1965 he was united in marriage to Betty Hennig in Tours. Albin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force stationed at Craig Air Force Base in Selman, Alabama. He spent his time working as a farmer and was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. Albin enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, dancing, polka music, country music, farming, working the land, and taking care of his cows. He loved spending time with his family and all of his friends, and poking the fire at the Colorado deer and elk camp. Survivors include his beloved wife of 57 years, Betty Pustejovsky of Axtell; his children, Richard Pustejovsky, Steve Pustejovsky, and Gregory Pustejovsky; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Millie Ann Podsednik and husband Tommy, and Evelyn Johnson; brother, George Dennis Pustejovsky and wife Donna; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are Darrell Podsednik, Mike Jupe, James Jupe, David Jupe, John Carlile, Sid Smith, Corey Price, and Jamie Leatherman. Honorary pallbearers are Herbert Brem, Tommy Kutscherousky, Harvey Deiterman, and his grandchildren & great grandson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Rest Haven Memorial Fund.
