Albert Hollingsworth, age 83, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Kindred Southwest Hospital in Fort Worth.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, Texas. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Albert was born November 25, 1941 in Waco, the son of Berry and Lottie (McHenry) Hollingsworth. He was a 1960 graduate of Connally High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the Army National Guard, with his service spanning the communities of Waco, Clifton, and Hillsboro. On December 14, 1963, he married the love of his life, Annette Sparkman, in Waco. Their union lasted until Annette's passing on February 22, 2017, a loss that left a profound void in his heart. Albert dedicated nearly five decades of his life to Coca-Cola, where he served as a Service Manager before retiring in 2011. An avid lover of the outdoors, Albert found joy in gardening, fishing, and hunting. However, nothing brought him greater joy than the time spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren. Each moment spent with them was a treasure that he cherished deeply. As we remember Albert, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
Albert is also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas Hollingsworth and David Hollingsworth; and a sister, Irvena Hollingsworth.
Survivors include his children, Kimberly Hollingsworth, Michael Hollingsworth and wife Lisa, and Victoria Goodwin and husband Stacy; grandchildren, Katana Lippe, Danah and Gerald Caufield, Joshua Lippe, Dalan Goodwin, Makenzie Hollingsworth, Sara and Stone Young, and Kinzley Hollingsworth; great-grandchildren, Sierra, Gerald, Rejino, Katelyn, and Leleah; sister, Peggy Davidson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
