Agnes E. Meixner

Agnes Elizabeth Meixner, age 89, of Elm Mott, passed away early Saturday evening, May 9, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Elm Mott. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home by Janice Kaluza, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at White Rock Cemetery near Ross, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Agnes was born July 8, 1919 in McLennan County near Tours, the daughter of John and Maria (Jetter) Glatter. She attended St. Martin's School and on April 14, 1941, she was united in marriage to Henry Meixner in Waco. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1995. Agnes worked as a seamstress for Fab-Knit and Wood's Manufacturing Companies in Waco. She also worked as a cook for the Elm Mott School and Heitmiller's Family Steakhouse. Agnes was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. She enjoyed playing games especially dominoes and cards. She also enjoyed dancing, fishing, and sewing. She was a member of the Home Demo Club in Elm Mott. Her parents; six brothers, Mike Glatter, Charlie Glatter, Johnny Glatter, Eugene Glatter, Max Glatter, and Henry Glatter; and four sisters, Lena Brem McGhee, Rosie Bockholt, Christine Leuschner, and Angeleen Dicorte also preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Audrey Bolfing and husband John Kenneth of Elm Mott; her sister, Louise Sparks of Gholson; four grandchildren, John Mark Bolfing and wife Lorrie of Wimberly, Michael Scott Bolfing of Smithville, Paul Bolfing, and Jennifer Kay Gauntt and husband Jason, all of Elm Mott; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers are her grandchildren, John Mark Bolfing, Michael Scott Bolfing, Paul Bolfing, Jennifer Kay Gauntt, Lorrie Bolfing, and Jason Gauntt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Rock Cemetery Association or St. Martin's Cemetery Association.
