Kelly Ray Thrower, age 47, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Friday, March 25, 2005 in Phoenix. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lacy Williams and Rev. Greg Way officiating. Burial will follow at Gerald Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Kelly was born January 16, 1958 in Amarillo, the son of Ray Thrower and Glenda Jo (Simmons) Thrower. He graduated from Salem High School and attended Chemeketa Jr. College in Salem, Oregon. Kelly worked as a field supervisor for Bob's Barricade Company in Phoenix. He also worked for the State of Oregon for many years in maintenance and for Thrower & Associates and in the lumber industry and was a cabinetmaker and woodworker. Kelly enjoyed working and was proud of a job well done. His mother, Glenda Jo Thrower preceded him in death. Survivors include his father, Ray D. Thrower and his wife Frankie of Waco; paternal grandmother, Novelene Thrower of West; two brothers, Glen Scott Thrower of Little Rock, AR and Eric Brandon Thrower and wife Sarah of Phoenix, AZ; step brothers and sisters, Rita Broome, Bobbye Baldwin, Cynthia Redd, Angela Sanders, Jennifer Caddell, and Marco Ramicone; his niece, Kristi Thrower; his nephew, Joshua Thrower; uncles and aunts, Mark Allen Thrower, Kim Rhea Thrower, Jana Gay Lizama, Tommye Kay Phelan. Mary Frances Leremick, Jan Shannon, and Jackie Holmberg; his beloved dog, Sam, and many other relatives. Pallbearers will be Scott Thrower, Eric Thrower, Terry Broome, Johnny Sanders, Mark Thrower, Kim Thrower, Marco Ramicone, and Bobby Baldwin. Memorials may be made to Leroy Church or Gerald Cemetery.
