Elizabeth Ann Stacy, age 87, of West, passed away early Wednesday night, April 13, 2016 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at the West Church of Christ, with Minister Bob Martin and Minister Ernie Albrecht officiating. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 Noon till service time on Monday at the church. Ann was born April 14, 1928 in Dallas County, the daughter of Clifton E. and Gay (Coates) Sparkman. She graduated from Sunset High School of Dallas in 1945 and then attended the University of Texas in Austin. On May 5, 1946 she was united in marriage to Edward Lee Stacy in Dallas. Edward Lee preceded her in death on May 29, 2008. Ann worked at Grant Buie Hospital in Hillsboro and West Chemical & Fertilizer for several years until her retirement in 1988. Ann was a very faithful member of the West Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed playing dominoes, "42", ceramics, water aerobics, gardening, traveling in the RV, boating, and hosting parties. She especially loved camping with her grandchildren and getting together for all the family reunions. Ann is also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mike Stacy; a daughter, Diana Dumas; brothers, Clifton "Toto" E. Sparkman and Richard M. Sparkman; and a sister, Norma Dorman. Survivors include a son, Gary Stacy and wife Glenda of Garland; son-in-law, Ralph Dumas and wife Jeanene; daughter-in-law, Jan Nash and husband Doug; a sister, Margaret Hendricksen and husband Bill; grandchildren, Jason Dumas, Justin Dumas and wife Rachel, Tim Stacy and wife Amy, Michelle Stevens and husband David, Amanda Radcliffe and husband John III, and Shane Stacy; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Joshua and Chloe Stevens, Jase, Diana, Daniel and Gabriella Dumas, Jamie Dumas and Gwen Stacy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Jason Dumas, Justin Dumas, Tim Stacy, David Stevens, Shane Stacy, and John Radcliffe III. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Church of Christ or the Alzheimer's Association.
